I am LUCA FAVARETTI owner of FAVARETTI RACING TECH,
a company founded in 2000.
Before starting my business, my passion for the world
of motorcycles and for mechanics in general was passed
on to me by my father. For the last 50 years he has been
well known as a repairer and performance mechanic throughout
and beyond the region. In the past we have applied our
professionalism in official support for brands such as
YAMAHA and SUZUKI. Since 1990 we have concentrated on APRILIA
official assistance for the whole of the PADOVA province.
FAVARETTI RACING TECH has become a national reference point
for assistance and preparation of the Aprilia brand.
Our technical expertise regarding Aprilia was recognised in
2003, coming in the top 3 of Italy whilst taking part in the
MASTER MILLE competition, dedicated exclusively to the MAXI
motorcycles from the NOALE factory.
FAVARETTI RACING TECH has been in collaboration for many years
with the main Aprilia dealer for Padova (today SPAMOTO).
We supply them with technical support and high level assistance
that has given us notoriety across Italy.
In 2001 we started a collaboration with the FBC RACING team,
providing them with logistical support and the technical
expertise with which to maximise the performance of their RSV1000,
deployed in the EUROPEAN SUPERSTOCK championship.
We provided assistance both at the start and throughout the
championship, testing materials and various technical ideas
using the engine test bed, helping to increase the performance
and above all the reliability of the race bike.
In 2004, FAVARETTI RACING TECH took charge of all RSV1000 RR MAGNESIUM
motor and electronics development for the European STK championship.
A good start at the beginning of the Championship confirmed the
positive testing undertaken over winter.
At present FAVARETTI RACING TECH is composed of the owner, LUCA FAVARETTI.
On a daily basis we undertake new chalenges and we are constantly striving
to perfect our services.
I feel very lucky that the job that my father passed down to
me can only be done properly if you have a real passion for
motorbikes and mechanics, always trying to remain humble even
when you feel you have nothing else to learn. This is the key
to constant finding improvements and always finding new
satisfaction and new inspiration to carry on!
For the second year running FAVARETTI RACING TECH came in
the top 3 of Italy for technical competence with the V990 model,
receiving in addition the German TÜV certification.
This was an important result for the company as well over
100 firms took part in the MASTER 1000 classification.
